Find your songs before you book.
Every band on openplaylist shows its real songbook: every song they can play, in the key they play it. Browse it, shortlist the ones you love, and send the list with your enquiry. No more guessing from a showreel.
The songbook below is Game of Tones' actual list: 160 songs, searchable right now.

A real band's songbook. Go on, search it.
This is the full list Game of Tones plays from. Search by song or artist, add anything you like to your shortlist, and tag when you want it. Your list stays in this browser, and you can copy it or share it as a link.
From "do they know our song?" to the dance floor.
Browse
Open a band's page and search their songbook. What's listed is what they play, not a wish list.
Shortlist
Pick your favourites and tag the big moments: first dance, the last song, and anything you'd rather they skipped.
Send it
Your list goes with your enquiry, so the band replies with real answers about your night, not a generic brochure.
Enjoy the night
The band builds the set around your picks. On the night, guests open one link and follow along live.
Their version, not the radio edit.
A cover band doesn't sound like the record, and that's the point. Bands can add their own recordings next to songs in their book, taken from rehearsals and gigs, so you hear how they'll actually play it before you commit.
- Recorded by the band, in the key they'll play it on the night
- Short clips, right next to the song in the list
- Want your first dance lower or slower? Ask, and they'll tell you straight
How band recordings sit in the songbook. Clips appear once a band adds them.
Fewer surprises, better nights.
The real list
The songbook is the one the band plays from on stage, kept up to date as they learn new songs. If it's there, they can play it.
Your "please don't" list
Tell them what to skip and it stays skipped. No surprise Macarena, unless you want one.
Your guests are in on it
On the night, the set is live on openplaylist. Guests see what's playing and what's next, and nobody has to shout requests at the stage.
Questions hirers ask.
Our song isn't in their book. Now what?
Ask. Many bands learn a song or two for a booking, especially a first dance. Put it on your enquiry and they'll tell you if it's doable.
Do I need an account to make a shortlist?
No. Your shortlist lives in your browser. Copy it into an email or share it as a link with your partner, your planner or the band.
What do the keys mean for me?
It's the key the band sings the song in. Most people can ignore it. It helps if you're planning to sing along, or want a song a little lower or higher.
Does the band have to play everything I pick?
Your list shapes the night, and the band reads the room to make it work. Big moments like the first dance and the last song are the ones they plan around.
Can my guests make requests on the night?
Guests can already follow the live set on their phones. A request board, where they add songs from the band's list and vote, is coming soon.
Is this a booking agency?
No. openplaylist helps you pick songs and see a band's real repertoire. You still agree the booking directly with the band.
